Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

We are currently searching for a detail-oriented, highly professional, and skilled Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader for our ever-growing Landscape Maintenance Division. As an Experienced Landscape Crew Leader, you will be a "hands-on" team leader and be responsible for maintaining every landscape project you're assigned to. Reporting to the Landscape Maintenance Manager, your role will involve utilizing your core skills in landscaping and supervising to ensure a high-quality service is delivered. A strong emphasis on leadership and groundskeeping, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces all while ensuring safety and efficiency in the day-to-day operations of your crew. The potential service areas you will be assigned to covers both residential and commercial properties throughout the Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant, and the Downtown Charleston areas. Requirements:

- 1-2 years of landscape maintenance crew leader experience running a crew with solid property time management skills,

- 2-3 years minimum of landscape maintenance experience,

- Well knowledgeable in the proper maintenance techniques and/or issues,

- Full understanding and hands-on operation of mowers, weed eaters, edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, spreaders, and pole saws (required)

- Ability to teach others "proper technique" of equipment when needed

- Able to perform all equipment upkeep and maintenance (such as oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, and blade sharpening),

- Ability to inspect properties and generate reports to insure the proper service,

- Strong attention to detail is a MUST,

- Good organizational skills with the ability to work alone,

- Strong communication skills and team work is essential to positive growth,

- Ability to troubleshoot, take pictures of potential problem areas, and report to Landscape Maintenance Manager,

- Strong work ethic / self-starter and the ability to work without constant supervision is essential to positive growth

- Strong ability to communication and/or take the initiative for more when the days tasks are done early

- Ability to prioritize and multitask with exceptional time management skills

- Bilingual in Spanish (a plus)

• Full-time Monday – Friday work schedule (7:30am-4ish pm), with potential Saturdays due to rain during the week (as needed).
• Pay is based on experience. $20-$24 / per hour
• Valid SC Driver's License Required (with good driving record).
• All positions require promptness to work, and dependable transportation to and from work.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
