Knockout Landscape is a growing company serving Hall County and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Landscape Maintenance Foreman/Driver to lead a crew, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure efficient daily operations.
This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment and takes pride in delivering excellent results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate, lead, and oversee daily crew operations
- Train team members and ensure quality performance and adherence to job schedules
- Inspect properties (lawns, grounds, landscaped areas) regularly to maintain high standards
- Ensure all properties are neat, clean, and well-maintained
- Identify and correct unsafe or improperly maintained conditions
- Operate landscaping equipment (commercial mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, blowers, edgers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments
- Drive company box trucks and trailers to job sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition
- Communicate consistently with Operations Managers throughout the day
- Complete and submit required paperwork (timesheets, receipts, reports, inspections) accurately and on time
- Follow OSHA regulations, company policies, and all safety procedures
- Lead by example and promote a positive team environment
- Attend required safety, training, and leadership meetings

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Landscape Crew Foreman
- Experience driving a box truck and pulling a trailer (required)
- Valid DOT Medical Card (required)
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years (required)
- At least 4 years of hands-on ground maintenance experience
- Experience in all phases of landscaping (mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, plant ID, etc.)
- Experience supervising a team of at least 2+ employees
- Experience with 2-cycle equipment (chainsaws, brush cutters, gas shears, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred if applicable) with acceptable MVR
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to use a smartphone or device for communication and reporting
Work Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions (non-climate controlled environment)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Travel to multiple residential and commercial job sites
- Flexible hours including overtime and occasional weekends
- Regular work around heavy equipment and vehicles
