We're looking to hire additional Experienced Landscapers, Gardeners & Landscape Crew Leaders to join our Commercial Landscape Company here in Dallas / Grand Prairie, TX.

Wages will vary based on the job Position, Experience & Work output we offer a wage range from $16 up to $25/hour for Landscape Crew Leaders.
Crew Leaders must have Valid drivers licenses.

For Crew Leaders:
Work includes using standard commercial landscaping equipment, maintaining records, monitoring and ensuring work product and schedules with highest quality. Crew leader shall also ensure safety, training, proffesionalism, mentoring of their team and provide management employee performance feedback. The Crew Leader will be responsible for completing work orders and electronic record-keeping for each project, using an online portal/mobile app. This type of work subjects the employee to outside environmental conditions, extreme temperatures, and hazards associated with equipment operation including fumes, oils, gases. The Crew Leader must be able to safely lift 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
The Landscaping Crew Leader position is responsible for managing and completing with the highest quality the daily production schedule for assigned customers and route.
Technical Skills:
- Perform and oversee various landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, mulching, mowing, and basic irrigation system start-up/shut down and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Identify and solve problems related to plant health, irrigation observance and effectiveness, and landscape design issues.
-Assisting with regular maintenance of equipment, such as blade sharpening, clean-up, and minor repairs as applicable
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a crew of landscape workers, providing direction, motivation, and support.
- Train new crew members on landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Conduct regular site meetings to discuss property goals, progress, and any issues.
- Manage a crew of 2-5 employees
- Actively educate crew members in proper landscaping practices
Administrative Duties:
- Continuous communication with management regarding property health, equipment issues and crew member performance.
- Maintain accurate records of crew hours, work performed, and materials used.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and tracking equipment maintenance.
- Participate in the execution of all work orders with crew members
- Consistent updates with management using our communication processes
- Maintains assigned equipment and reports deficiencies to field supervisor
- Always interacts with clients and vendors with a professional and positive demeanor
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Current Driver’s License
- Has ability to create/read/execute field reports/directions
- Must have experience operating all landscaping related tools & equipment
- Must speak English
- Bi-lingual a plus but not required
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications
- 1-3 years experience leading a landscape team
