Landscape, mowing and snow removal team lead

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Landscape, Mowing & Snow Removal Team Lead to oversee daily field operations and lead a crew in providing exceptional grounds maintenance and snow removal services. This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and possesses an exceptional eye for detail. Quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscape, mowing, and snow removal crews.
• Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, and seasonal landscape maintenance.
• Coordinate and participate in snow plowing, snow blowing, salting, and de-icing operations during winter weather events.
• Conduct property inspections to ensure all work meets company quality standards.
• Train, coach, and motivate crew members to maintain high performance and professionalism.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and safely operated.
• Monitor job sites for safety hazards and enforce company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members.
• Complete daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation.
• Identify and address issues before they become customer concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, or snow removal required.
• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial mowing equipment, trailers, plows, skid loaders, and related equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
