About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, experienced Landscape Pesticide Applicator to join our team and ensure safe, effective application of pesticides and herbicides across commercial and residential properties throughout King County. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and knowledge of integrated pest management techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments according to label instructions and regulatory requirements
• Inspect properties for pest issues and recommend appropriate treatments
• Maintain accurate application records and comply with state and federal regulations
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and tools safely
• Communicate with clients and supervisors regarding treatment plans and safety precautions
• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain)
• 2–3 years of experience in pesticide application or related field
• Knowledge of integrated pest management and safety protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a nice-to-have
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent walking and standing required.

Working Conditions

Exposure to chemicals, outdoor environments, and varying weather conditions. Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $26 – $36/hr ($54,454 – $76,232 annually), DOE
