Position Overview

Countryside is seeking a hands-on and dependable Production Manager to lead daily operations within our Landscape Division (NLD). This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to company standards.

This is a key leadership position that connects the office and field, keeping jobs moving from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership & Daily Operations

  • Lead and manage landscape crews on a daily basis
  • Assign work and ensure crews are productive and efficient
  • Maintain a positive, accountable team environment
  • Address field issues and make real-time decisions

Scheduling & Job Coordination

  • Coordinate daily and weekly schedules for all landscape projects
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to align schedules and priorities
  • Ensure jobs are staffed appropriately and completed on time
  • Adjust schedules as needed due to weather, delays, or changes

Project Execution

  • Oversee job progress from start to completion
  • Ensure quality standards are met on all projects
  • Monitor materials, equipment, and job readiness
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact timelines

Communication

  • Serve as the primary link between field crews and office operations
  • Provide regular updates on job status and progress
  • Communicate clearly with team members and leadership

Safety & Organization

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment
  • Ensure crews follow company procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain organized job sites and equipment usage

Qualifications

  • Experience leading crews in landscaping, construction, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions in the field
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

  • Landscape installation or hardscape experience
  • Experience with scheduling or job management systems

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
