Sales Manager – Landscaping Sector (10+ Years’ Experience Required)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ proven success in the landscaping industry. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader who understands the full landscaping lifecycle — from design and build to maintenance — and can grow key accounts, secure new business, and lead high-performing sales teams.

You will be responsible for driving strategic growth, developing client relationships, and positioning our company as a trusted partner in premium landscaping solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales function, ensuring revenue targets and KPIs are consistently achieved
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for key market segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, architects, consultants, facility managers, and government stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure high-value landscaping projects
  • Provide accurate forecasting, sales reporting, and pipeline analysis
  • Prepare proposals, tender submissions, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with operations, design, and project teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in landscaping sales (design/build, softscape/hardscape, or commercial landscape contracting)
  • Strong network within the landscaping, construction, or development sectors
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing large-scale contracts
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking with hands-on leadership approach
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driving licence (if applicable in your region)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in GCC or international landscaping markets (if relevant to your organisation)
  • Experience working with government tenders or large-scale developments
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
