Landscape Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor to assist with overseeing the maintenance and appearance of a large residential community. This position works under the direction of the Landscape Superintendent and is responsible for helping supervise landscape crews, coordinating daily maintenance activities, and ensuring the community’s grounds are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Landscape Superintendent with supervising and coordinating landscape maintenance staff
• Oversee daily landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, homeowner requests and general grounds care
• Monitor the health of turf, trees, and plant material throughout the community
• Identify irrigation issues and report or assist with repairs and adjustments
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to community standards
• Help coordinate seasonal plantings and landscape improvement projects
• Communicate landscape needs and conditions to the Landscape Superintendent

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of landscape maintenance experience, including supervisory or crew leadership responsibilities
• Strong working knowledge of irrigation systems, including troubleshooting leaks, valve issues, timers, and water management
• Solid understanding of turf management, plant health, pruning practices, and seasonal landscape care
• Experience supervising and directing landscape crews, including assigning daily tasks and monitoring work quality
• Ability to identify landscape issues and proactively recommend solutions
• Knowledge of safe equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape tools
• Ability to read irrigation plans and basic landscape plans preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
