Landscape Supervisor
to support the maintenance and enhancement of our resort’s lush, resort-style grounds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both physical outdoor work and team coordination. The Landscape Supervisor will assist the Landscape Manager with inspections, task planning, and crew oversight, while also spending at least 50% of their time performing landscape labor.
OUR ROLE
Perform routine landscape tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanups
Assist with minor irrigation repairs and low-voltage lighting maintenance
Ensure all work is performed to the resort’s high aesthetic and environmental standards
Assist the Landscape Manager with weekly property inspections to identify maintenance needs and improvement opportunities
Help develop and maintain to-do lists based on inspection findings
Support task delegation and follow-up with crew members to ensure timely and quality completion
Step in to fill crew gaps or run tasks as needed to maintain workflow
Promote and practice eco-friendly landscaping techniques, including water conservation, native planting, and organic care methods
Encourage sustainable practices among team members and contribute to the resort’s green initiatives
Work closely with the Landscape Manager and landscape crew to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and resort staff regarding landscape needs and updates
Some equipment operating experience will be required as it will be a part of the regular responsibilities of the position including: skidsteer, excavator, mini skidsteer, trencher, tractor, bushhog
OUR TOP CANDIDATE
2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, with some supervisory or team lead experience preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example in the field
Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting
Commitment to sustainable landscaping practices
Light working knowledge of irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting is required
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
