Landscape Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance with some installation. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, including residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Duties

• Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools for various landscaping tasks such as digging, planting, and building garden features.
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees and shrubs.
• Assist in the installation of new plants, flowers, and garden beds to enhance outdoor spaces.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and safe by properly disposing of debris and waste materials.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with landscaping equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all landscaping tasks.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
