Landscape Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaper to join our team. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining outdoor spaces to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscaping techniques.

Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
• Create detailed landscape designs, considering factors such as climate, soil type, and client budget.
• Develop project plans, including plant selection, hardscape elements, and irrigation systems.

Installation and Implementation:

• Execute landscape designs, including planting, grading, and installation of hardscape features.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
• Ensure proper soil preparation and plant care during installation.

Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including pruning, mulching, and fertilizing, to ensure the health and vitality of plants.
• Monitor and manage irrigation systems to ensure proper hydration for plants.
• Identify and address issues such as pests, diseases, and weed control.

Client Communication:

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and offer recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
• Provide guidance on plant care and landscaping practices to help clients maintain the beauty of their outdoor spaces.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Stay informed about local regulations and environmental standards related to landscaping practices.

• Clean driving record a must. No experience needed, we can train on the job
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instruction.
• The ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.
• This is an all-weather position, rain or shine.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
