Landscape Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for landscaping and a commitment to enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to lawn care, hardscape installation, and overall landscape maintenance. The Landscape Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients’ properties are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating lawns to promote healthy growth.
• Assist with hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Dig and prepare planting areas for trees, shrubs, and flowers according to landscape designs.
• Use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, and weeding.
• Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Plan and Install hardscapes, retaining walls, and other various projects.
• Plow and/or shovel during winter months. Pay for Snow Shoveling will be $88/hr.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, hardscape installation, snow plowing, and general landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
• Experience in hardscapes, sealcoating, and parking lot striping is strongly preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating various landscaping equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
