Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
- Conduct tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and visual appeal.
- Assist with hardscape installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements.
- Maintain lawns through fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and snow plowing during winter months to keep properties pristine year-round.
- Support gardening efforts by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper soil preparation and watering techniques.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery are safe and operational for daily use.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant health care, and tree care practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape construction is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project completion.
