Landscape Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy and attractive turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, shrubbery care, and flower bed upkeep.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, aerating, and soil preparation.
• Utilize equipment such as excavators and snow plows for larger projects or seasonal needs.
• Maintain hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure efficient watering practices.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to perform landscaping tasks with precision while adhering to safety standards.
• Experience with excavation equipment like excavators is a plus for larger site work.
• Familiarity with gardening practices, tree trimming techniques, snow plowing operations, and hardscape installation.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely.
