LANDSCAPER

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. Your work will involve a variety of tasks, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and seasonal snow plowing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscape maintenance, and contribute to transforming outdoor spaces into inviting environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns.
• Maintain landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, planting, and horticulture practices that promote plant health and growth.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, and saws safely and efficiently.
• Install and repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures.
• Conduct irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Use equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation tasks while adhering to safety standards.
• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks including debris removal, soil preparation, and garden bed upkeep.
• Support tree care activities such as planting, pruning, trimming, and removal when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care procedures, snow plowing techniques, and general construction practices is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail along with good communication skills for team collaboration.
• Prior experience working with landscaping or construction teams is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Join us in creating stunning outdoor spaces! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
