Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, digging, and other landscaping activities
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment to install hardscape features like patios, walkways, or retaining walls
• Conduct lawn care routines including fertilizing, aerating, overseeding, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth
• Maintain trees through trimming, pruning, and health assessments to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for use

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant selection, soil preparation, and pest management
• Ability to operate construction machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
• Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Excellent understanding of hardscape installation processes like paving or stonework
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance

Pay: $24.66 - $29.70 per hour
