Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out landscaping projects
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation and installation
• Maintain irrigation systems to promote optimal plant growth and water efficiency
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to ensure safety and vitality
• Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators
• Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest management
• Experience in landscape maintenance routines like pruning, planting, and irrigation setup.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles for plant selection, garden design, and tree care techniques
• Ability to operate construction equipment safely and effectively in various outdoor settings
• Familiarity with hardscape installation methods for creating durable outdoor features
• Excellent gardening skills with an eye for detail in landscape aesthetics and environmental sustainability
