Responsibilities

• Perform landscape installation and maintenance tasks, including planting, pruning, mowing, and edging to keep outdoor spaces lush and attractive
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for construction, hardscape projects, or landscape modifications
• Conduct lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, watering, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth
• Maintain trees through trimming, pruning, and health assessments to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
• Carry out snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Assist with garden design elements including hardscape features like patios or walkways while adhering to project specifications

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and land management machinery
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Skilled in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows for detailed work
• Ability to operate heavy machinery including excavators safely on construction sites or large-scale projects
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, planting, and disease management
• Excellent understanding of landscaping principles combined with the ability to execute hardscape projects effectively
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and longevity of tools used in daily tasks
