Landscaper/Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping crew in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of landscape technicians in daily operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Oversee the installation of landscape features, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as building garden beds and other structures.
• Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of irrigation components.
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, mulching, and seasonal clean-ups.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any repairs needed to management.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates, timelines, and any changes needed during the course of work.
• Reliable, good attitude, hard worker.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or installation with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in a landscaping or related environment.
• Proficiency in building garden features and installing irrigation systems is highly desirable.
• Mini excavating machinery experience.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and tree care practices is helpful.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members alike.

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
