Landscaper/Groundskeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscaper/Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces in <LOCATION>. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and quality work.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to keep grounds pristine
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as edging, pruning, and debris removal
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality
• Use gardening techniques to promote healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics
• Assist with lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding
• Conduct general groundskeeping duties including trash removal and soil preparation
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold safety standards

Skills

• Experience with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques
• Proficiency in using hand tools (shears, shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers)
• Knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization and pest control
• Familiarity with gardening, horticulture principles, and plant health management
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
