Landscaper/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves physical labor and requires the ability to work in various weather conditions. As a Landscape Laborer, you will contribute to the beautification of residential and commercial properties through effective landscape maintenance and installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist in the installation of new landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Dig, build, and maintain hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client satisfaction.

Skills

• Ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and compensation will be tied to experience.
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment operation is preferred.
• Experience in landscape design or gardening is advantageous.
• Proficiency in lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
• Ability to dig, build, and install hardscape features effectively.
• Familiarity with tree trimming practices for safety and aesthetics.
• Competence in using both hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (hedge trimmers, blowers).
• Strong physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks throughout the day.
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
