Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, reliable landscapers or laborers to bury telecom cables in residential neighborhoods. This role requires precision, care, and the ability to work efficiently without damaging existing infrastructure, landscaping, or the cable itself.

Key Responsibilities

• Bury telecom cables at approximately 6 inches depth in residential yards
• Perform clean, professional trenching with minimal disruption to landscaping
• Complete sidewalk/driveway bores when required
• Follow designated cable paths using a mobile app for job routing and documentation
• Properly close out jobs in the app with accurate completion details
• Maintain a clean worksite and restore disturbed areas as needed
• Communicate any obstacles, delays, or issues promptly

Requirements

• Experience in landscaping, trenching, or underground cable work preferred
• Ability to work carefully around existing utilities, irrigation systems, and property features
• Must own a truck or SUV capable of transporting tools and materials
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for job tracking and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

• Experience with telecom cable burial (fiber/coax)
• Familiarity with basic boring techniques under sidewalks/driveways
• Knowledge of utility locating best practices
