Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
• Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of landscape maintenance, construction, and gardening projects
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repairs, and tree care
• Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently across all job sites to maintain a secure working environment
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets company standards and client specifications
• Manage equipment usage and maintenance to maximize productivity and safety
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors to coordinate project details and address any issues promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on supervising teams
• Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, garden design, irrigation systems, construction techniques, and tree care
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide crew members toward shared goals
• Familiarity with gardening tools, landscaping equipment, and maintenance procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to irrigation systems or landscape problems quickly and effectively
