Landscaping Driver

Duties

• Safely operate trucks, trailers, excavators, and other landscaping machinery to transport materials and equipment to job sites
• Assist with landscape installation and maintenance tasks including mowing, tree trimming, pruning, planting, and irrigation setup
• Use hand tools and power tools for landscape construction, hardscape installation, and general maintenance work
• Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and vehicles; perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed
• Collaborate with team members on landscape projects involving horticulture, tree care, irrigation systems, and garden design

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery such as excavators, power tools, and irrigation systems
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape installation
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with construction standards is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving large trucks or trailers preferred
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials when necessary
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
