Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools to perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and soil preparation.
• Operate equipment like excavators and snow plows safely to support construction projects and seasonal clean-up.
• Maintain hardscape features such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth.
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
• Perform general gardening duties such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to horticultural best practices.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and power tools.
• Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control.
• Strong landscape maintenance skills covering gardening, pruning, planting, and soil preparation.
• Familiarity with landscaping design principles and hardscape construction methods.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various outdoor projects.
• Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming, pruning, and planting for healthy growth.
• Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
