Copperwood Communities, headquartered in Gilbert, AZ, is a successful family-owned investor and operator of mobile home and RV resort properties in Arizona and Nevada. We have an opening for a full-time landscaping - maintenance technician to work at our property Villa Vaquero Manufactured Home Community in Glendale, AZ 85301.

Responsibilities:

Maintain community grounds, common areas, park facilities and related equipment. Experience with pool maintenance a plus.

Groundskeeping duties include landscaping – leaf blowing, tree trimming, weed removal, raking leaves, planting shrubs, and maintaining the overall aesthetics of park using power tools, golf cart & trailer.

Maintaining common areas duties include trash removal, cleaning, repairing, pressure washing, painting, cleaning, and maintaining pool and spa.

Maintaining park facilities duties includes ability to resolve basic plumbing issues such as repairing water fixtures and water lines, unclog and repair sewer fixtures and sewer lines, repair leaks.

Competent using hand tools, power tools, golf cart & trailer, diagnostic tools, measurement tools.

Complete assigned work orders and report status to the Manager.

Proactive in assessing required maintenance, preventative maintenance, safety concerns, and future investments.

Maintain inventories of onsite equipment, supplies, and materials.

Comply with safety requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be able to dig, move or lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.

Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience required.

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid driver license.

Must have good attendance and be punctual.

Ability to operate maintenance equipment and other equipment.

Ability to efficiently perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Ability to tolerate exposure to various chemical compounds.

Schedule: Monday - Friday may require on call days.
