About The Role

As Landside Duty and Inspection Officer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:

• Accountable for Landside Duty Management on shift with particular emphasis on curbside, vicinity roads including Airport access roads, Metro Connectivity, Midfield Areas and Tunnel, DIA Departures and Arrivals Terminal, other landside areas include but will not be limited to the public mosque, Terminal utility and service stations, parking structures including short/long term and staff parking, Shuttle bus services, Taxi/Limo Operations, Events Logistics Management.
• Monitor relevant contractors staff performances and delivery whilst on shift ensuring the effective execution of duties and conveying a positive image of the airport, keeping in line with the seamless and convenient world-class experience HIA want to deliver to all Customers.
• Continuously monitor the landside traffic situations by undertaking regular vehicle patrols and by foot at Departures and Arrivals Curbside - to ensure smooth Logistic flows.
• Champions routine inspections though physical inspection of facility including spot check.
• Raise all landside area's fault to MATAR Faulty Reporting Center and follow up with them to ensure all facility within landside operational and as per MATAR Five Star Standard.
• Attend all Landside Areas incident/accidents whilst at shift and report to Sr. Management. Compile and prepare report for the same.
• Ensure that all airport users receive a high standard of customer service within the vicinity of landside 24/7.
  
  

Qualifications

About You

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years work related experience
• Minimum of 2 years relevant airport environment experience
• Valid Qatari Driving License
• Good Command of English both verbal and writing, Arabic is an advantage
