As a full-time Category Lead, you will own and drive the performance of a defined product category across our e-commerce platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize sales growth, ensure product availability, and deliver a competitive and seamless customer experience. You will leverage data insights, market trends, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize pricing, assortment, and visibility, while enhancing the end-to-end customer journey. You will be expected to continuously improve category performance by balancing commercial objectives with operational excellence and delivering measurable business results.
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

Execute onboarding and item set up process to make sure products are available and ready to sell.

Execute customer’s attraction plan to assure they can easily browse and find the products they want.
- Develop navigation experience (browse/search) by managing and enhancing product attributes and taxonomy.

Attract customers through compelling messaging and visual merchandising.
- Manage item and category pages including product imagery, rating reviews, basic and enhanced content.

Optimize item and category pricing, providing competitive pricing for B.TECH customers.
- Initiate product promotions and benchmark competitors.

Work cross-functionally to ensure customers receive their products quickly and efficiently.
- Create a cohesive experience between online shopping and the physical product.

Conduct regular analysis of category performance, identifying key trends and improvement opportunities.

Work with cross-functional teams (across marketing, product and supply chain) to execute initiatives to optimize category performance.
Requirements-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in e-commerce, category management, retail, or a similar commercial role.
- Hands-on experience managing the laptops category or similar consumer electronics products is a must.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Proven experience in managing product categories, pricing strategies, and promotions.
- Good understanding of e-commerce platforms, online merchandising, and customer journey optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
