We are seeking an experienced Dell Laptop Service Technician to join our Palarivattom branch. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Dell laptops, including handling out-of-warranty service requests. The role requires strong technical expertise, quick problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to deliver reliable and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Dell laptops (hardware and software issues).
- Handle both warranty and out-of-warranty service cases.
- Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and system configuration as per Dell standards.
- Provide technical support directly to customers through in-person, phone, and email communication.
- Document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure laptops meet performance standards.
- Coordinate with Dell for warranty-related cases and parts procurement.
- Manage spare parts inventory required for laptop service operations.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with Dell service processes, tools, and latest laptop technologies.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Computer Hardware, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Laptop Servicing.
- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware diagnostics, component-level repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to handle out-of-warranty repairs independently.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills..
