Role Overview

We are hiring a Laravel Backend Developer (Night Shift) to help design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise-level web applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Frontend, QA, and DevOps teams, working with Laravel v8–10, PHP 7.4–8.x, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and modern tools to deliver scalable solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Laravel (v8–10).
• Design and optimize MySQL / PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance.
• Implement authentication systems (JWT / OAuth), RBAC, caching, and background job queues.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable OOP/MVC-based code, while supporting staging/production fixes.
• Integrate Laravel backends with Vue.js (v2/v3) frontends.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and sprint planning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on Laravel/PHP backend development experience.
• Proven expertise in API design, database optimization, and Git workflow.
• Familiarity with JWT/OAuth, caching, job queues, and performance debugging.
• Basic integration experience with Vue.js or other frontend frameworks.
• Available for on-site night shift in Karachi (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
• Bring an ownership mindset, clean-code habits, and include your GitHub or portfolio link showcasing recent Laravel/API projects.
