About the Role

Join our growing tech team at ABS International, where we build modern web platforms for international clients. We’re looking for a Laravel Backend Developer experienced with Vue.js to help design, develop, and scale web applications.
This is an on-site, night-shift opportunity — ideal for developers who want to work with global teams and enhance their backend expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices in Laravel (8/9/10)
• Integrate backend APIs with Vue.js frontends
• Manage MySQL / PostgreSQL databases, queries, and migrations
• Implement authentication, authorization, queues, caching, and background jobs
• Use Git, Composer, NPM/Yarn, and basic CI/CD workflows
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Monitor and optimize backend performance for speed and reliability

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in Laravel / PHP development
• Hands-on experience integrating Vue.js (v2 or v3)
• Strong skills with MySQL / PostgreSQL and database design
• Familiarity with API development, JWT/OAuth, and version control (Git)
• Must be available on-site during 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM shift in Karachi

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, Docker, or AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)
• Experience in TDD/BDD, writing tests with PHPUnit
• Exposure to Agile / Product-based teams
