About the Role

We are looking for two highly skilled Laravel Developers to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidates will be seasoned Laravel engineers with strong hands-on experience across different versions of Laravel and PHP. You should have a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable applications while following best practices in software engineering.

This role is perfect for developers who have 2–5 years of experience working on diverse projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for writing clean and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and related PHP frameworks.
• Implement object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and leverage design patterns to build scalable solutions.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL & PostgreSQL), including schema design, optimization, and query tuning.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA) to deliver high-quality features.
• Maintain strong version control practices using Git (branching, merging, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines).
• Ensure applications are secure, optimized for performance, and follow best coding standards.
• Write unit and feature tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in Laravel/PHP development.
• Strong expertise in Laravel (different versions) and understanding of its ecosystem.
• Excellent command of PHP fundamentals, OOP, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL databases (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows and best practices.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, queues, caching, and Laravel services.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and libraries.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Knowledge of Lumen, Cashier, or 3rd part integrations.
• Knowledge of Docker, AWS, or cloud deployment environments.
• Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
