We’re looking for a Laravel Developer to join our team on a contract basis, with the potential to extend based on performance and project needs.

Job Description

As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing secure web applications and backend services handling real-time transactions, financial integrations, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services using Laravel (PHP).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration services; knowledge of SOAP APIs is a plus.
• Build and maintain modules supporting digital payments, money transfers, wallet systems, and transaction lifecycle management.
• Implement transaction validation, reconciliation, settlement, and audit trails.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, PCI-DSS, and other financial regulations.
• Integrate with payment gateways, banking APIs, currency exchange services, and ERP systems.
• Work on modules involving real-time data processing, encryption, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, business analysts, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following SOLID principles and industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for security, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and business logic.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies (e.g., Laravel 11+, AI-based automation, microservices) and continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Laravel 9+/10+/11+ and PHP 8.x.
• Good understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Experience integrating with payment gateways and working on financial transaction systems.
• Strong knowledge of API development, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and scalable backend systems.
