Web Developer (WordPress, Shopify & SEO Expert)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our growing digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in WordPress and Shopify development, with strong skills in technical SEO and on-page optimization. This is a full-time, night shift position, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is focused on delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites
• Implement and manage technical SEO best practices (site speed, structured data, crawlability, etc.)
• Perform on-page SEO optimization including meta tags, schema, image optimization, internal linking, etc.
• Create and maintain responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly websites
• Install and configure plugins, themes, payment gateways, and 3rd-party tools
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, broken elements, and performance issues
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing team to ensure brand consistency
• Conduct website audits and implement SEO improvements
• Set up and manage Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid (Shopify)
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals – technical and on-page
• Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Yoast/RankMath
• Ability to optimize website speed and performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, minification, etc.)
• Familiarity with schema markup, canonical tags, and mobile responsiveness
• Comfortable working night shift (aligned with US/UK time zones)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with website builders (Elementor, Webflow, etc.)
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus or headless CMS
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
