Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Large Format Printing Operator to join our creative production team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating Eco-Solvent Large Format Printers, Plotter Cutting Machines, and Cold Lamination Machines, with strong attention to print quality, color accuracy, and finishing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Eco-Solvent Large Format Printing

• Operate and maintain large format printers (e.g., Roland, Mimaki, Epson, or similar).
• Prepare print files, check color accuracy, resolution, and size before printing.
• Manage print media types (vinyl, canvas, photo paper, backlit film, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printers.

2. Plotter Machine Operation

• Operate cutting plotters for vinyl and other substrates.
• Perform contour cutting and weed-out process accurately.
• Handle alignment and calibration for precise cutting.
• Ensure correct material usage and minimize wastage.

3. Cold Lamination & Finishing

• Operate cold lamination machines for print protection and finishing.
• Apply laminates without bubbles, creases, or dust.
• Mount prints on various boards (Foamboard, Acrylic, MDF, etc.) as required.
• Assist in final trimming, application, and packaging of completed jobs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in large format printing and finishing.
• Strong knowledge of printing materials, color management, and ICC profiles.
• Proficiency in software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and RIP software (VersaWorks, Onyx, FlexiPrint, etc.).
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for printer and machine maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in signage production or print shop environment.
• Knowledge of installation and application of vinyl graphics (optional).
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
