About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate lash stylist to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants mentorship, flexibility, and the chance to grow with a supportive salon. You’ll bring your creativity and client care, and we’ll provide the space, tools, and marketing to help you thrive.

What You’ll Do

• Provide eyelash extension services (classic, hybrid, volume)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after services
• Help create content for our salon’s Instagram and online portfolio (optional but encouraged!)
• Manage your own bookings and payments (we can provide tools to assist)

Requirements

• Valid Virginia Cosmetology or Esthetician License (Required)
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a friendly attitude
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
• Able to work 2–4 shifts per week (flexible scheduling)

Contract Structure

This is an independent contractor position (1099). You’ll:

• Set your own schedule within salon hours
• Handle your own taxes (we’ll issue a 1099 form annually)
• Be responsible for your own insurance/license upkeep
