Lash Artist

Job Overview
Lav and Lox Studio is looking for an aspiring Lash Artist to join our team! We are a group of women who support one another and are dedicated to helping each teammate succeed. As our studio continues to grow, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry and eager to start their career in lash artistry.

No prior lash experience is required. We provide onsite education through our lash apprenticeship program to help you develop your skills and grow into a professional lash artist.

This is a commission-based position that will be available later this summer (July/August). We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and ready to learn. You must hold a current Esthetician or Cosmetologist license to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in our onsite lash apprenticeship to master extension techniques and artistry.
• Prioritize the client experience, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and welcome.
• Learn to perform thorough consultations to understand client goals and eye health.
• Utilize Mangomint software for scheduling, client records, and processing sales.
• Educate clients on proper lash aftercare and confidently recommend retail products.
• Support the daily operations of the studio to keep things running smoothly.
• Work collaboratively with our team of women to maintain a positive, helpful environment.
• Transition into performing lash services on clients as you progress through your training.

Requirements

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetologist license.
• No prior lash experience required—just a passion for the industry and a hunger to learn. Experience is always a bonus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to make clients feel comfortable.
• Willingness to commit to a structured onsite education and apprenticeship program.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive team of women.
• Strong reliability and punctuality.
• Comfortable with a "learning-first" environment and receiving constructive feedback.
