Lathe Operator

Weltech Vision Trading Co. WLL is seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional and/or CNC lathe machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Set up tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor machining processes.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of machines.
• Follow company safety standards and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a lathe operator (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC lathes will be an advantage.
• Technical diploma or relevant certification in machining/mechanical trade.
