Laundry Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and wash laundry items according to fabric type, color, and cleaning instructions.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing/ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper use of detergents, chemicals, and cleaning materials.
• Check all items for stains, tears, or damage and report irregularities to the supervisor.
• Fold, press, and package laundry items neatly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
• Deliver laundered items to designated areas or staff/guest as required.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures in handling laundry.
• Assist in inventory control of linen, uniforms, and laundry supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred (hotel/hospital/industrial laundry experience an advantage).
• Basic knowledge of washing, pressing, and fabric care.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely.
• Good physical stamina to handle long hours and heavy loads.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
