Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and presses with precision and care to maintain fabric quality.
• Sort linens and garments according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
• Perform cleaning tasks including spot removal, stain treatment, and sanitation of laundry areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle dry cleaning processes for delicate or special items following established procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Follow safety protocols during all laundry operations to prevent accidents or equipment damage.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver fresh linens promptly and support overall cleanliness initiatives.

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment such as commercial washers, dryers, and pressing machines is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including stain removal and fabric care enhances performance in this role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
