Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards of quality. This role is essential in providing a clean and welcoming environment for our guests, particularly in a hotel setting. Previous experience in laundry services or hotel operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens and garments efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron various items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspect items for damage or stains and report any issues to management.
• Ensure all laundry equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet the laundry demands of the hotel efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques used in laundry operations.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
