Laundry Attendant

The Hotel Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing guests with clean and fresh linens, towels, and garments by operating laundry machines, folding, and storing laundered items. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in hotel laundry operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort linens and garments by color, fabric, and cleaning instructions.
• Pre-treat stains and inspect items for damage or excessive wear.
• Fold, stack, and organize cleaned laundry for storage or delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room at all times.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linen stock; report shortages to supervisor.
• Follow all hotel safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist with distributing clean linens and collecting soiled ones from guest rooms or housekeeping carts, if needed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest service standards are met.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
