Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care.
• Ensure all laundry items are sorted correctly by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, inventory levels, and supplies to support smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly and meet guest service expectations.
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines related to chemical use and equipment handling.

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, pressing machines, and dry cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and fabric care best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
