Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
• Perform cleaning duties in laundry areas, including sanitizing machines and work surfaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Handle delicate items such as dry cleaning garments, ensuring proper procedures are followed for quality preservation.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking laundry supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.
• Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent accidents or equipment malfunctions.
• Support other housekeeping or hotel staff as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations or cleaning services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens and garments meet quality standards.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately.
