Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines with precision and care.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards.
• Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized items to ensure quality results.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly through routine checks.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and machinery.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and linens.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest items.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all items meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry effectively.
• Good communication skills to work seamlessly with team members across departments.
