Laundry & Dry Cleaning Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Laundry & Dry Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our laundry and dry-cleaning facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality garment care, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering excellent customer service. The role also includes identifying opportunities to grow the business through corporate and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

· Oversee the daily operations of the laundry and dry-cleaning facility to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.

· Supervise garment handling processes including sorting, washing, dry cleaning, pressing, finishing, and packaging.

· Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure proper garment care procedures are followed.

· Monitor turnaround times and ensure customer orders are completed within the promised schedule.

Staff Management

· Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff including washers, pressers, customer service staff, and drivers.

· Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.

· Foster a productive and positive working environment.

Customer Service

· Ensure excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.

· Maintain strong relationships with regular and corporate clients.

Business Development

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities such as partnerships with hotels, salons, spas, gyms, Airbnb hosts, and corporate clients.

· Support initiatives to increase revenue and expand the customer base.

Inventory & Supplies

· Monitor stock levels of detergents, chemicals, packaging materials, and other operational supplies.

· Coordinate procurement and maintain cost efficiency.

Equipment & Maintenance

· Ensure laundry and dry-cleaning machines are properly maintained and functioning.

· Coordinate preventive maintenance and arrange repairs when necessary.

Financial & Administrative Duties

· Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

· Track daily operational performance and prepare reports when required.

Compliance & Safety

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to laundry operations and chemical handling.

· Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the facility.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in laundry, dry cleaning, or similar service operations management.

· Strong knowledge of laundry and garment care processes.

· Experience supervising teams and managing daily operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
