Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and ready for service
• Assist with food preparation including basic cooking, slicing, and plating to meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Serve guests efficiently at the buffet or through table service, providing friendly and attentive customer service
• Manage food handling responsibilities with proper hygiene practices and adherence to safety regulations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when applicable
• Restock supplies and replenish food items throughout service to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to maintain a tidy environment
• Support catering or banquet setups as needed for special events or group breakfasts
• Follow all health and safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and guest interaction

Experience

• Previous kitchen experience or food preparation skills preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
• Experience with food handling, catering, or banquet services is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transactions
• Customer service background in hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or café settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food safety standards ensures quality service and compliance
• Experience working as a host/hostess or in serving roles helps deliver exceptional guest relations
• Barista experience or coffee knowledge can be beneficial for beverage offerings during breakfast hours
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for engaging with guests effectively
