Laundry Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Laundry Manager to oversee the full operations of our laundry department, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands‑on technical knowledge, and proven experience managing laundry teams in hotels or industrial laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily laundry operations (washing, drying, pressing, finishing, distribution).

• Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff to ensure smooth workflow.

• Maintain quality control for guest laundry, linen, uniforms, and F&B items.

• Monitor and manage chemical usage, inventory, and stock levels.

• Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of laundry equipment.

• Implement and enforce SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.

• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments for operational needs.

• Control operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on production, machine performance, and inventory.

• Handle vendor coordination, chemical suppliers, and service contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hotel or industrial laundry operations.

• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of laundry chemicals, stain removal, fabric types, and machine operations.

• Experience managing medium to large teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Must be currently in Qatar with valid QID (transferable preferred).

• Immediate or short‑notice joiners are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 4–5 star hotels or large‑scale laundry plants.

• Knowledge of PMS or laundry management systems.

• Training certifications in chemical handling or laundry operations.

Pay: From QAR10,000.00 per month
