Laundry Pressman

• Set up, operate, and maintain printing press machines (offset/digital/screen/garment – as applicable).
• Review job orders, layouts, and specifications to determine press setup and production requirements.
• Perform press checks, adjust ink, color, and registration for accurate print quality.
• Monitor production runs to detect and correct print defects or machine issues.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, lubrication, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Ensure production timelines and quality standards are consistently met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues on the press.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with designers, prepress, and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials usage, and machine logs.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum [3] years of experience as a Pressman in a printing environment.
• Strong knowledge of printing processes (offset, flexographic, screen, or digital).
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and technical instructions.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, color accuracy, and quality control mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Physical stamina to handle standing, lifting, and machine operation.
