Job Title: Laundry Valet (Arabic Speaker)

Reports To: Laundry Supervisor / Housekeeping Manager

Position Summary:
The Laundry Valet is responsible for providing efficient, accurate, and courteous laundry and pressing services for guests and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and timely delivery. Fluency in Arabic is required to effectively communicate with Arabic-speaking guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and process guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing requests
• Ensure correct labeling, counting, and tracking of all items
• Perform washing, drying, ironing, and folding to hotel standards
• Inspect garments for damage, stains, or special care requirements and handle accordingly
• Deliver laundry items to guest rooms promptly and courteously
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area and equipment
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally
• Assist with inventory of linens and laundry supplies
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office for guest requests and delivery timing

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping preferred
• Fluency in Arabic is required; English is an advantage
• Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and pressing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift laundry loads
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
